We are homeowners who had damage from Hurricane Charley. Our roofer tore off the old roof in December 2004 and put down tar paper and then hot mop in January 2005 :? . Because of a tile shortage, the hot mop roof has been exposed to the elements (extreme heat, rain, sun, etc.) for seven months. What is the expentancy of the hot mop before its qualities are compromised. It seems to be buckling in spots from the heat.
I would appreciate your expert opinion.

SBS will last for about 10 years or more. 90# a couple years tops. You can tell the difference because the 90# will have a yellow or green line down the middle. If you want we do alot of work in PGI and Port Charlotte I can stop and look and tell you what you have free of charge.
