I live in sjersey and was wondering what the going price per sq is for new work, I know it depends on the pitch and how high but also , does it matter what type of material is used and weather there is copper dormers or shingles? sentenial slate? so what is the going rate for jackers and walkable roofs?please help with some kind of answer!

That is like asking
"how much do one of those things that you drive down the road cost?"
You have way too many materials, pitches, sizes, locations, to give any kind of answer.
sorry.
if you get very specific, I'm sure someone will tell you what they charge in their area that they live in.

The best wau to find out is to hire three licensed and insured reputable ROOFING contractors and ask them to quote your job.

ok,, just a general idea of how much per sq for walkable and jackers in the south jersey area,,,and this is for labor only,,,rancher would be 40-50 per sq and capecod jacker two storys high would be 55- 75 per sq......thats the kind of answer I was looking for. You wouldent need a detailed est. to answer that...but I do understand without seeing the job, its hard to say,, and thats why i said just a general Idea.Of course one would pay more if the roof had to be planked and the roofers had to wear safty harneses to work safly, but no one does, cant work fast enough right ! so I need to find another sight that will help me with my estimating dilema, if no one will help with the pricing, how about another web sight that will? but thanks anyway...
