I am a home owner who just stumbled on to your sight. I have a quick, easy question. How much is covered by a "square"? I see that in a lot of posts and would like to get an idea of the size of my roof.

yep a square is 100 square foot, or a 10 foot X 10 foot area.

and if thats the only question you have after reading all these posts, you must be pretty smart too!!

10 by 10 area and that is in feet. that is one square. It was good you asked many dont and then mistakes are made. No such thing of a dumb or stupid question.
