What is your choice of the best quality 30 yr dimensional shingle...what would you put on your home?

the better question is not " what would you put on your roof? "

but " who is going to put IT on your roof? "

the best roof will fail installed by a dummie.
the cheapest roof will perform well if applied by a professional.

no disrespect, but i am sure more of my fellow roofers here would agree.

Personally I like Certainteed or GAF anything aside from that just is not worth talking about. Q has a good point cost is not an issue, Its experance and quality that will count nothing more nothing less.

I appreciate the feedback. Let's assume that the installation is being performed by a quality firm. I am not looking for cheap. Rather I am looking for quality both in installation and material. I have learned a lot from this site in trying to evaluate the installer. However, the comments from the professionals on this site is valuable feedback for the material an installation techinques based on their experience.

Grand timberline by GAF or LandMark TL from Certainteed and 50 shingles and excelent choices.
