I am having my home re-roofed with GAF timberline 30 year (Weathered wood). The estimate was for 27 squares, and the associated ridge vent/felt/flashing etc, and the cost of teardown, install and debris collection was $6000.00.
My home is a contemporary design from 1987 with steep roofline and several peaks, in Montgomery county, PA.
Can somebody let me know if this is a good price?
Thanks

it is a good price if the roofing company has liability insurance, workmens comp, for a walkable one to two layer removal and 30 yr GAF i am about that same price, if it,s not walkable and thats what you mean for a steep roof line it sounds cheap and you might want to double check the company status.
