Hello, we have a rancher style home, and 2/3 of the house has an attic with a typical roof, the other 1/3 had a flat roof that we have taken off and put up an A frame. The new A frame meets the existing to create a V, we need to create a cricket there to divert rain and snow off the roof. Does anyone have a nice drawing of how a cricket should be fabricated? It spans approx. 8 feet.

Thanks, John.

I would say reomve the new roofing about six feet up and frame in and sheet a HOG....a doube sided cricket to do what you need and install a twenty year low-slope system.

I have made an illustration for you, but am not so computer savvy as to get it posted here or change the file format. Send me an email and I will forward it to you.
