I have been looking into replacing existing stationary vents with solar powered attic vents for ventilating my attic space. I live in Houston, Texas. My house is two story approximately 2800 sq. ft. The house has no ridge vents. It has 5 non-powered vents, 2 airhawks and 3 circular. Any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Cover all the old vent holes with new plywood and install two power attic ventialtors on hunidistats as well as thermostats. Make sure your system is balanced and free flowing. You should be OK then.
